Academics

Sigma Omega Nu's first and primary objective is Academics. We highly prioritize Academics by providing many tools to our members and our community. The sorority continuously seeks new ways of promoting academics excellence. Some of the ways we help accomplish this is by:

Annual National Conference

At the conference, sisters participate in academic, professional, personal and sorority related workshops.

Study Hours

The sisters of Sigma Omega Nu are required to document a minimum of 6 study hours each week.

Alpha Order Academic Honor Society

Every quarter sisters are recognized for maintaining a 3.0+ cumulative GPA

Professional Development

Sisters are required to attend a minimum of one professional development event per quarter.

Mentorship Program

A mentorship program is used to help those sisters who might be struggling academically.
